About Clearwater Swimming Pools

Clearwater Swimming Pools is a family-run swimming pool company based in Oxford, specialising in the design, construction, refurbishment and maintenance of domestic and commercial swimming pools. Established in 1977, we have almost 50 years of experience within the swimming pool industry and have successfully completed projects throughout England.

From bespoke new swimming pools and complete refurbishments to ongoing maintenance and specialist wellness installations, our experienced team provides a comprehensive service tailored to each project. We work on both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including liner pools, tiled pools, commercial facilities and complex bespoke installations.

A Family-Run Swimming Pool Company Since 1977

Clearwater Swimming Pools was founded by Hedley Thomas in 1977 and has remained a family-run business ever since.

Today, the company is led by Luke Goddard, Managing Director, and Jessica Goddard, Operations Director, who are at the forefront of Clearwater's projects and day-to-day operations.

Luke and Jessica oversee projects from start to finish, whether Clearwater is delivering a complete new swimming pool and pool house or carrying out a smaller refurbishment such as a replacement swimming pool liner. This hands-on approach ensures every project receives the same attention to detail, technical expertise and commitment to quality, regardless of its size.

Complete Swimming Pool Design & Construction

Clearwater provides far more than swimming pool installation. We can manage a project from the initial concept and design through to construction, installation and final completion.

For indoor swimming pool projects, we can also undertake a complete pool house build from start to finish, including construction of the building that houses the swimming pool. This allows Clearwater to coordinate the pool, pool house, plant room and associated systems as part of one complete project.

Where other architects, designers and main contractors are involved, we can work alongside the wider project team to ensure the swimming pool and associated systems are successfully incorporated into the overall design.

Our specialist services include:

• Swimming pool design and construction
• Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
• Domestic and commercial swimming pools
• Complete pool house construction
• Swimming pool refurbishment and renovation
• Liner and tiled swimming pools
• On-site welded swimming pool liners
• Swimming pool plant rooms and equipment
• Automatic swimming pool covers
• Swimming pool maintenance and repairs
• Saunas, steam rooms and wellness facilities

Self-Build Swimming Pool Kits

For customers who want to take a more hands-on approach, Clearwater also supplies bespoke self-build swimming pool kits.

Our self-build kits can be tailored to the required pool size, depth, design and construction method, with options available for both liner and concrete tiled swimming pools. We can provide the equipment, technical information and professional support required, allowing customers to undertake elements of the construction themselves while still benefiting from Clearwater's swimming pool expertise.

Swimming Pool Projects Across England

Although Clearwater Swimming Pools is based in Oxford, our construction work is not limited to Oxfordshire. We have successfully completed swimming pool projects throughout England, working with homeowners, architects, contractors and commercial clients on projects ranging from individual pool refurbishments to complete swimming pool and wellness developments.

Our Oxford base also allows us to provide ongoing swimming pool maintenance, servicing and repairs throughout Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
